A teacher at Montclair High School not only gives homework to his students, he gives it to their parents too.Damion Frye has asked the parents of his students to read and comment on a Franz Kafka story, Section 1 of Walt Whitman’s “Song of Myself” and a speech given by Robert F. Kennedy in 1968.
Frye tells the parents if they don't complete the assignments, their child's grade may suffer.
Frye wants to keep parents involved in the education of their children. He thinks loading them up with some homework is an effective way to do it.
