What is the union saying right now that we'd want the city or the state to pay attention to? Not much, from the looks of things. So it's not going to make much difference if the government makes it official that they're not listening.
Listen to parents? Do it. Listen to parents who advocate for class size reduction funding actually being spent on, you know, class size reduction. Listen to parents who don't want charter schools taking over space in their schools. Listen to parents who, in late May, still have no idea where their children might be going to kindergarten. Because the city and the state are sure as heck not listening to them now.
I guess that ad has just grown on me, you know?
