Improving Test Scores, Part 2

Well, if you're too timid to actually show students the test in advance, another sure-fire method for raising test scores is to lower your standards. That's what NY State did when too many students failed its math Regents.

In Missouri, they're troubled with sub-par test scores, but by lowering the passing grade, they seem to have found an ideal solution.

That way, no child will be left behind. Whether or not they can read is another matter entirely.
