Chancellor Klein, apparently, is going to allow another 150 schools the luxury of less oversight. True, with fewer of Klein's overpaid, questionably competent, meddling, sycophantic minions running around, many schools will be able to discard trendy reading and math programs that don't actually teach reading or math. That's a good thing.
On the other hand, what if your principal is a raving incompetent lunatic? That could work to your disadvantage.
It's a conundrum, all right.
